3 Major Causes of a Slow Internet Access and the possible Solution
Do you like this story?
Broadband internet connection is currently the fastest means of accessing the internet as at now, and there’s no any other method that can match what a broadband internet can offers- not now but the future to come. But the fact that a broadband internet connection is fast doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have some lapses. Everywhere there’s a Yes, there must be a No as well. So be expecting something unusual if you are using a broadband internet if you’ve not experienced one before - that is the perfect law of Karma!
So since we all know that a broadband internet connection can be too slow, so we don’t need to talk much on that one, but rather than to focus on ways to solve slow speed internet access from existing in our area. And that’s why this article will be focusing on ways to help you get your internet connection back working, in case it has been affected before.
Therefore, here below are three things that cause your broadband internet sluggishness and the necessary steps you can take to combat them without hassle.
Distance from the service station
The distance between your home, and the service station of the ISP Company you are subscribed to can be the cause of your internet connection poor performance. You should not subscribe to a service provider that has no good internet facilities and better infrastructure in place. In a situation where your broadband internet service provider doesn’t have the required tools and facilities needed in place; you should go for another one that have all these facilities so that you can be able to enjoy the service. It wouldn’t be nice if you pay hardly for a service, and you weren’t able to use it at the very best time you want to use it due to limitation.
One thing I have come to realize about these ISP’s is that they don’t spend much on infrastructure, but they want to make money in return. The perfect case for this was the issue between Harsh Agrawal of ShoutMeLoud, and the Airtel India; the company doesn’t want to be responsible for their customers, but they love to collect money from them. This is bad and you too should avoid such companies as well.
Obstacles and Brick Walls
One more thing that can limit the performance of your connection is when it is hinder by some certain obstacles. Obstacles such as brick walls or tall building can affect how the connection works; especially if the connection is a wireless powered access. You should make sure that there’s no limitation to the view of your wireless router and others facilities related to it.
Weak Signal Strength
Like what I said earlier on, when there’s a limitation to your network signal, chances are that you may find it difficult to surf the web. And that applies to this one as well, weak signal strength can also cause slow connection, and this mostly occurs because of some certain limitations your connection is experiencing.
