Launch of the Google Nexus

Posted by Sumit Rana

The Google Nexus line has always been one of the most powerful Android phones. The first Google Nexus One managed to capture the market with its innovative design and the integration of the latest Android software in to its system, and Google has used its flagship mobile phone in release new updates to its Android operating system, and the Google Nexus was touted by many as being the new flagship device for the company.

The previous Nexus phone was made by Samsung as well, and Google worked in collaboration with the company in order to develop the new phone. It was touted for release in the Google press conference on the 11th December 2011, only a few days after the release of the iPhone 4s.

However, the release of the phone was delayed due to the untimely death of the Apple CEO, Steve Jobs. Out of respect and honor for the technological pioneer, Google decided to postpone the release of its phone, just causing more anticipation. Samsung held the press conference on the 18th of December, delaying it by 7 days. The biggest announcement made on the day was that the Galaxy Nexus Prime will be the world’s first Android phone to be running on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software. Google showcased the latest innovations made to its software by showcasing the fact that there are no physical buttons on its sleek device.

The Galaxy Nexus Prime received huge amounts of acclaim from developers and technology experts, mainly due to the powerful hardware installed in the device. The Galaxy Nexus Prime has a Super AMOLED display, which is now being integrated in to all of the high end phones from Samsung. It also has LTE connectivity, a beautiful 4.65 inch display and without any physical buttons, the real estate of the screen can be utilized more effectively. For example, while watching videos on the screen, the Back, Home and Search buttons will automatically fade out, expanding the view of the screen and making it much larger.

The phone does maintain its prolific curvature at the back, which is a feature that was first introduced by the Google Nexus One. Out of the box, The Galaxy Nexus Prime is also going to have complete Google + integration. On the inside, the whole device is powered up by a blazingly fast 1.2 GHZ Dual Core Texas Instruments OMAP 4 processor. According to the developers and the majority of the reviews that have been posted on the internet, the Galaxy Nexus Prime ‘just flies’.  The phone also features the highest contrast ratio offered by Samsung, and the resolution of the screen is at 1024x768, which is extremely beautiful for a phone.

The device is extremely thin as well, with the width of the phone at 8.49 mm and a slim 4.29 mm bezel rounding the edges. The camera on the phone is 5 MP, which might not be as high as many would expect, but with the release of the Ice Cream Sandwich, it is expected that the quality of the pictures would be the same as that of an 8 MP camera. It is an extremely powerful device capable of performing your everyday tasks and handling gameplay and video playback easily.

Also, the release of the new Ice Cream Sandwich Android operating system comes at a very crucial time, because Google has announced that Ice Cream Sandwich will be the only operating system to be used in tablets and mobile phones. Previously, Gingerbread was used in mobile phones and Honeycomb was the tablet software released by Google. Several advancements have been made to the phone as well, such as a Facial Unlocking system and the Android Beam, which makes use of the NFC communications chip in order to connect to another Android mobile phone by just placing the two phones together.

Moreover, it showcased the wealth of changes that were made to the operating system itself, which has been completely revamped in order to provide much more feasibility and customization options to the device. The Galaxy Nexus Prime is surely going to be one of the best-selling phones of this generation, and adds another great phone in Samsung’s inventory.

It doesn’t matter how legitimate you are, if you don’t fill out all your information, you might look like you are either not the real deal or you could look like an amateur. Putting out all your information will make you look not only real, but professional and reputable.

Google Updates Algorithm To Punish Websites With Excessive Ads

Posted by Sumit Rana

Hey guyz this is the bad news for all those bloggers and websote admins which always try to earn more and more from thier websites by placing number of ads on thier webpages and readers have to tolerate such kind of stuff in reaching to the required data.

Google has decided to take punitive action against those websites that flood the top of their web pages with ads, forcing their visitors to scroll down in order to view the relevant content on the page.

According to Google, this type of layout annoys the users and thus the web search company will be penalizing those websites through search results; the company disclosed this on their blog.

Google's distinguished engineer, Matt Cutts, stated on the Google Webmaster Central blog, "If you click on a website and the part of the website you see first either doesn't have a lot of visible content above-the-fold or dedicates a large fraction of the site's initial screen real estate to ads."

This, according to the engineer, who is seen as the main authority on search engine optimization (SEO) for the search giant, is not good for user experience and thus such websites might not get high ranking on Google web search.

However, the company will not be punishing those websites that have ad content up to what Google considers "normal degree" but those websites will be affected that have "excessive" ads content, making it hard to find the original content. The search giant has developed a new algorithm improvement to implement this.

Hey guyz,we know that most of our website readers are college going students and they always in a search of  tricks so that they can earn thier pocket money,it may be either online methods or something else.

Recently i have posted on "How to earn thorugh blogging"and i have noticed a huge amount of readers are searching that article on google as i got around 50,000 pageviews on that article till now,so i thought of writting another article for understanding you guyz the basic concepts of the google adsense because that is the only way you can earn much from other ads like chitika etc.
These terminologies are often in use while you doing a buisness of of online adson internet,so understanding what they are and they can play a vital role in your income or account statusi s very important for all of you.

The basic terms on the online ads buisness page are CPM,CTR,CPC ,CPS,which are individually explained below:-

What is CPM

CMP stands for Cost per Thousand (M is symbol of 1000 in Roman Number). In the fields of online advertising, you can charge on the basis of number of impression of particular banner/link ads. Normally your CPM can be anything from $5 to $1. Lots of advertising network provide you client for CPM based on your blogs niche. Mostly network put condition of minimum impression per month before you join their network i.e. your blog/website must have at least 50000 pages view per month.

What is CPC

CPC stands for Cost per Click’. You have to pay (if you are putting ads on someone else blog/website) or you will earn (if somebody putting his ads on your blog) whenever someone click on the ads. Google adsense is famous example of it. Google charged to their clients for every click they get on their ads and Google pay you whenever someone click on the ads (Google Adsense ads) running on your blog/ads.

What is CPA

CPA stands for ‘Cost per Action’. Action can be of any type, it may be filling out a form on destination website or joining e-mail list at destination websites etc.

What is CPS

CPS stands for ‘Cost per Sale’. This is one of the most famous online marketing methods now a days. It is beneficial for both publisher and advertiser. You get a commission per sale.
* Most of the affiliate plan is based on ‘Cost per sale’ model.

What is CTR

CTR Stands for Click through Rate’. CTR is calculated on percentage basis. Let me explain you it in more details. Suppose you have put one ads on your blog and it appears to your visitor 100 times a day and 3 people click on it then your CTR will be 3% or 0.03

If 10 people out of 10000 impression of ads are clicking on ads then your CTR will be 0.1% or 0.001

CTR Calculation formula:-

(Number of Clicks / Number of impressions) x 100
So if number of impression is 100000 and number of click is 1000 then CTR will be
CTR = (1000/100000) * 100 = 1%

Hope this article can clarify your doubts easily if anyhow you left with more doubts you can leave your queries in the comment section for discussion.
