3 Major Causes of a Slow Internet Access and the possible Solution

Posted by Sumit Rana

Broadband internet connection is currently the fastest means of accessing the internet as at now, and there’s no any other method that can match what a broadband internet can offers- not now but the future to come. But the fact that a broadband internet connection is fast doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have some lapses. Everywhere there’s a Yes, there must be a No as well. So be expecting something unusual if you are using a broadband internet if you’ve not experienced one before - that is the perfect law of Karma!

So since we all know that a broadband internet connection can be too slow, so we don’t need to talk much on that one, but rather than to focus on ways to solve slow speed internet access from existing in our area. And that’s why this article will be focusing on ways to help you get your internet connection back working, in case it has been affected before.

Therefore, here below are three things that cause your broadband internet sluggishness and the necessary steps you can take to combat them without hassle.

Distance from the service station

The distance between your home, and the service station of the ISP Company you are subscribed to can be the cause of your internet connection poor performance. You should not subscribe to a service provider that has no good internet facilities and better infrastructure in place. In a situation where your broadband internet service provider doesn’t have the required tools and facilities needed in place; you should go for another one that have all these facilities so that you can be able to enjoy the service. It wouldn’t be nice if you pay hardly for a service, and you weren’t able to use it at the very best time you want to use it due to limitation.

One thing I have come to realize about these ISP’s is that they don’t spend much on infrastructure, but they want to make money in return. The perfect case for this was the issue between Harsh Agrawal of ShoutMeLoud, and the Airtel India; the company doesn’t want to be responsible for their customers, but they love to collect money from them. This is bad and you too should avoid such companies as well.

Obstacles and Brick Walls

One more thing that can limit the performance of your connection is when it is hinder by some certain obstacles. Obstacles such as brick walls or tall building can affect how the connection works; especially if the connection is a wireless powered access. You should make sure that there’s no limitation to the view of your wireless router and others facilities related to it.

Weak Signal Strength

Like what I said earlier on, when there’s a limitation to your network signal, chances are that you may find it difficult to surf the web. And that applies to this one as well, weak signal strength can also cause slow connection, and this mostly occurs because of some certain limitations your connection is experiencing.

Top SEO Plug-ins for Google Chrome

Posted by Sumit Rana

Website owners main priority these days is to ensure that the sites they design and host will be easily found by users who are surfing and searching  for the type of information that are on the site.  A website that gets only a few visitors can be discouraging and depressing for web developers.  The need for more website visitors resulted in webmasters concentrating on Search Engine Optimization or SEO.  SEO is a complex process but it is also straightforward, with successful optimization resulting in search engines finding your site when users or browsers are looking for a specific topic.

Among the current available web browsers, Google Chrome is now one of the most popular and is a highly regarded browser for speed and stability.  This makes developers constantly searching for new tools to improve functionality with Google Chrome.  Listed below are Google Chrome plug-ins for SEO that are currently available:

1)      SEC site tools – This is a straightforward tool that will show you information about your web overall ranking based on the SEO optimization level of your site.  The information will include things like PageRank, the last cache date, available social media monitors and some suggestions to improve the visibility of your site.

2)      Page Rank – is simply an extension that will make the user see instantly the exact Google ranking of the website you are viewing if you will add a small icon to your page.

3)      Chrome SEO – is the most popular of the SEO plug-ins and the most frequently used as it provides the user with a wide range of tools for SEO including premium ones like KeywordResearch, Social bookmark counts, Backlink and PageRank.  This plug-in is useful for the assessment and correction of SEO density and the improvement of overall rank.

4)      SEO Quake – is a plug-in that is considered information heavy and perfect for individuals who like statistical examinations.  The SEO Quake provides many things like Google index, Yahoo links, Alexa Rank and notfollow links.  It also gives the SEO parameters when using Search Engine Result Pages (SERPS)

5)      META SEO Inspector – is very useful to web developers as it provides the access to the META data found inside web pages that are invisible during browsing.  The user is allowed to check the site’s description tags in line with the guidelines of Google.

6)      SEO SERP – is handy when comparing the website’s relative position against other sites belonging to the same genre.  The check can be done using a particular keyword.

7)      SEO and Website Analysis –  the SEO analysis is very detailed through the use of a variety of parameters of SEO including keyword analysis, Whols data, Alexa rank and URL analysis as developed by WooRank

8)      iPageRank – this tool is very useful but unusual as it displays the web page PageRank but at the same assesses the information transferred to other links using the dofollow function.  The total number of links and follows of internal links within a particular website is also counted.

If you're a web developer and utilize chrome as your main browser definitely make sure you use one or more of the above plug-ins to help with your SEO efforts.  Remember, the chrome browser  uses a lot of bandwidth to function properly. So, make sure you have high-speed Internet connectivity when using the chrome browser. You can check out AT&T's new Internet service offers by going to Att uverse coupon page and apply for high speed internet service.

New partners to get a new tablet: Samsung & Microsoft

Posted by Sumit Rana

Just when users hung loose on android-powered tablets from samsung, the company settled upon picking something even bigger. It might really interest performance seekers that samsung has recently joined hands with microsoft to unleash their upcoming windows 8 tablet. Sounds too great to hear the collaboration, doesn't it? Well, the quad-core computing device’s sure to set ablaze the stiff tugs-of-wars amongst manufacturers from across the world.

Though the report needs to receive an official word from samsung, the tablet however has already started making the waves for users by large. Apparently, the device will benefit the most from microsoft’s windows 8 operating system and revamp the way consumers interact with their entertainment and multimedia world. Designed aesthetically, the super sleek solution was also showcased during microsoft’s BUILD developer’s conference.

The new windows 8-powered samsung tablet will ostensibly integrate an extremely powerful processor for speedy execution of tasks whilst slender framework takes care of portability. Devised for users who seek a unique blend of exceptional performance, stunning looks and great price value, the tablet comes equipped with an interesting slew of advanced features.

Although it might be a bit too early to comment on other specs, the device nonetheless promising enough. You may accredit the possibility of success either to the respective expertise or amazing features, but samsung’s new tablet seems to be a great bet. If sources are to be believed, the touchscreen model will be integrated with a high end camera for incredible picture and video quality. By taking advantage of which, photography aficionados will be enabled to seize their moments with unprecedented sharpness and high resolution.

The other scenario, however, validates the firm alliance between samsung and microsoft. It definitely makes sense for the latter to tap samsung’s knowledge and expertise – as samsung has evolved as one of most significant android smartphone and tablet makers. The company, on the contrary, gets to rest upon microsoft’s platform for its remarkable advancement in operating system, which could be easily noticeable through windows phone 7.

As far as the new tablet’s progress is concerned, microsoft has already teased a part of the latest windows 8 operating system interface. We feel, which, utilizes certainly most of its structure from windows phone 7 smartphone’s metro user interface. There’s absolute no obscurity that samsung’s new windows 8-powered computing device will set forth new benchmarks, considering an advanced amalgamation of superb features and highly awaited OS.

At the same time, it should nowhere be overlooked that the tablet will boast of a new interface which comprises windows phone-style live tiles. The standard ‘Start’ menu is also anticipated to be replaced in a significant manner. Furthermore, the device will be incorporated with backwards compatibility with all windows 7-compatible software and hardware. That sounds whole of a new experience.

Displayed during microsoft’s BUILD developer’s conference, the new samsung tablet has more specs details to be divulged. Pretty much expected though, the pricing as well as availability details are still kept well under the wraps. That leaves us with nothing else but – hanging onto our hats for some more time. Fingers Crossed!

iPhone On Flickr: Beating Everyone In Popularity

Posted by Sumit Rana

Flickr is one of the most famous online web portals for sharing pictures among your friends, families or to anyone in the world. The majority of Flickr users are amateur and professional photographers, who share their pictures and critiques along with friends and strangers of mutual interest. When the brilliant smartphone- iPhone was released, it sounded quite difficult to enable sharing pictures online, directly from the mobile.

But this Flickr application enabled it successfully. In fact, it is purely customized for iPhones. With its release, sharing pictures became very easy than people would have expected. Today, it is possible to upload pictures instantly from the iPhone, with just a physical touch on the screen. The users can upload images with the location details as well.

To be literal, iPhone's Flickr application will let you upload pictures and videos instantly, right after you shoot them. It also provides a browsing comfort similar to the online experience you would get on a conventional PC or a laptop. You can create sets, add tags, and write descriptions, and share images and clips with the world, on the go. You may comment on other pictures, search for images, explore, manage your photo-stream, add titles, etc., as like the online surfing experience. Even though a lot of unofficial Flickr applications had released earlier, their browsing experience was incomparable and inefficient to this original application.

The best part of iPhone's Flickr application is its ability to Geo-tag the photos. It does this process automatically using the network's information at ease. Specifying the name of the places is the ultimate role of Geo-tagging feature. The users can decide to enable or disable this feature as per their wish. In fact, the Geo-tagging feature could be used easily in the iPhone than in the computer browser. Tagging locations are a time-consuming and partly a manual process with the online browsing methods. That's where the Flickr application overtakes the online browser's usefulness.

Though the application was released much earlier, people are adapting it rapidly in the recent months. Yahoo's professionals had worked a lot in creating the best user interface for this iPhone application. In fact, the procedure for installing this application is very short and simple. That makes it versatile and easy to use for all sorts of users, who just wishes to share his/her images with the world. However, if one doesn't already have a Flickr account, he/she must create it first to use this application. Yahoo has made an easy signing in/off processes at the comfort of the phone. The users will realize the advantages of this application over the browser's experience within a short time. To everybody's surprise, this application could be downloaded and installed for free. That's the hardest part to believe, but it's true. As Apple upgraded its iPhone's cameras along with sophisticated features, sharing high quality images has never been easier ever.

Indubitably, iFlickr application is the users' master tool to express themselves to the world through pictures and videos on the move. Check out this iFlickr application in the manufacturer's website.

Top Advanced Tips and Tricks for Google+

Posted by Sumit Rana

Google+ is the newest of the big social networks. The site has been live for about a year, but it became incredibly popular very quickly, and it continues to grow.

While it is a newer site, there are many people who have been spending a lot of time on Google+. There are many who are already expert and advanced users, and you may well be one of those folks. If you aren’t you can be; the following advanced tips can help you become an advanced user. Additionally, if you are an advanced user already, these tips can help you to learn something new and use this great social network even more proficiently.

Bookmark Posts on Google+

Your Google+ stream can get a bit noisy, especially if you follow a lot of active users. You can’t really follow or bookmark, but you can create a special circle with a clever name like “Bookmarks” where you can put things that you would want to bookmark.

In this new circle, don’t add anyone. Instead, when you see a post that you want to go back to later, elect to share the posts with your Bookmarks circle. When you want to go back to these posts, go to your Bookmarks circle and view the stream to see all of your saved posts.

Use Keyboard Shortcuts

Advanced users love keyboard shortcuts because it allows them to be faster and more productive. Google+ users who are experts appreciate that the popular social sites has keyboard shortcuts available. The following are some shortcuts you can try:

  •  Pressing “K” lets you go up one post at a time

  • “J” lets you scroll down one post at a time

  • “Q” moves you page up or down to see people in chat

  • “Tab” then “Enter” will submit a comment

  • “Spacebar” lets you scroll down through your stream

  • “Shift” + “Spacebar” lets you scroll up in your stream

  • Hitting “Return” after selecting a post will open a comment box

Control your Public Image

Beyond using circles to be sure that your mom or your boss doesn’t see the crazy post about what you did at a party last night, you can have ultimate control over how people see your profile on an individual level. If you input a username, you can then edit your profile in a special way. That way you can change how that person sees your profile.

Keep Track of your Stats

Google+ Statistics is a tool that allows you to track statistics on your Google + account. You can keep track of how many people have you in their circles and where you rank in overall user popularity, among other things.

To use Google+ Statistics, you simply need to sign up and connect your Google account. There you can also get other Google+ information that isn’t as personal and you can get widgets for promoting your Google+ account on your site.

Make your Text More Exciting

With Google+ you can make font changes, and not fancy or involved HTML is involved. You can strikethrough text or write in boldface or italics. To do so, put the following characters before and after any word or phrase you want to show up on your stream in a special font.

  1. For bold, you want to put an asterisk (*)on both sides of something you may want to appear in bold.

  2. For italics, you will want to put an underscore (_) on both sides of the word or phrase to be italicized.

  3.  For strikethrough, place a dash (-) on both sides of whatever it is that you want the strikethrough to go through.

Always Save Google Analytics Code In Multiple Places

Posted by Sumit Rana

Hey Guyz, how about the new template of Tricky Tech, needs your feedback ! .

If you are not familiar with goggle analytics then in short i will say it is Google service which allows you to keep track of you traffic. If you asking yourself the question that blogger already have “Stats” to keep track of traffic, believe me analytics is much more advanced and much more informative regarding the traffic your blog’s getting.

I faced an error after updating my new template, my google analytics was automatically removed with the previous template code and i was worried for a moment that why i am having zero page views from last 2 days. But not to worry now as i have backed up my older template and from thier i get the analytics code and i verified my blog. But in case i am not having any backup then i could be in a trouble.

This is all about blogging.lets talk abiut the main thing, Google doesn’t require that you put the Analytics code into more than one place, unless you use different page templates for your website or decide to split the code yourself. Each page that diverges from the main template page design that doesn’t pick up the Analytics code will require installation of the code just before the closing tag. Google offers two codes for use, the asynchronous code that changes JavaScript to a command array to execute the code separately from other functions, or the traditional code employing simple JavaScript for execution.

For users that don’t like to install the Google “snippet” at the beginning of the page before the ending tag, Google advises that they can still keep the independent loading of the asynchronous code by splitting the code in half. The first part of the code has little effect on the page’s display, and insert the “ga.js” portion of the code at the bottom before the ending tag. This is for those who desire this preference and is not required at all. These functions are for the more advanced user.

I hope this article will help you in future and you will continue your blogging without any break.

Tips To Make You an Advanced Facebook User

Posted by Sumit Rana

It seems like anyone and everyone is on Facebook. Your high school class and your grandparents are all using Facebook to connect with others.

Even though everyone is on the site, not all of these people are expert users. Many struggle with how to do more than the absolute basic features. There are those who are expert, advanced users, and you may be one of these people. If you aren’t one of these advanced Facebook users, you can be. The following tips can help to make you an advanced Facebook user. Even if you are already an expert, these tips may well teach you some new tricks to make you even more proficient with this top social networking site.

Appear that you are offline.

When your Facebook friends see you online, they may send you messages which could pester and distract you. If you appear that you are offline, they won’t know you’re there. Open your Facebook chat in the side bar, and click on the gear and open advanced settings. From here, you can select whether or not you appear to be online, and you can elect to hide away from certain users.

Access Facebook Chat from your desktop.

The Facebook Messenger and Chat features is a great way to keep in touch, but if you go on Facebook to get your messages or chat with a friend, it is easy to get distracted. There are applications for both Windows based computers and Macs that are more user friendly and let you chat and send messages without being on Facebook. There are many IM style programs you could try; Chit Chat for Facebook is just one of them.

Receive updates again by email.

Facebook used to send email notifications for almost everything your contacts did via email, and that would get pretty annoying. If you aren’t on Facebook all the time, however, there are probably certain things such as being tagged in photos or at a location that you would like to know about by an email notification. If you go to your account settings, you can create email or SMS notification for almost anything or everything that happens on Facebook.

Hide your profile from public searches.

Facebook is about connecting with people you already know and keeping in touch with people from your past. This generally means that most Facebook users don’t want to be friends with strangers. In your privacy settings, alter your search settings so that you cannot be found in public search results; only logged in Facebook users could find you. You can also set it up so that you aren’t searchable at all by anyone.

Log on using https.

Https is a more secure connection that Http. If you connect through the former, it is harder for hackers and cyber criminals to view your activity on Facebook. By logging into especially when using a public wireless network, you are enhancing your chances of keeping your account secure. Https is a bit slower, but the security is probably worth it.

Remove annoying advertisements.

Advertisements can be annoying and distracting, and they take up a lot of your page. Facebook isn’t getting rid of advertisements anytime soon; it is how they make your money, but you can. Presently, Facebook’s mobile apps are free from ads, but browsing Facebook from your smartphone isn’t always ideal. If you want to see the full version on your personal computer but want to ditch the ads, you need to get a Greasemonkey script called Facebook Cleaner; installing this plugin makes the advertisements go away.

Mark Zuckerberg Will Have a $1 Salary

Posted by Sumit Rana

Hey guyz, i know you all will be surprised by reading the article, you should be because i was also shocked when i get to know about this news.

He was Steve Jobs the great inventor now resting in peace now, who has started this trend of 1$ salary in his own company Apple. The another famous personality Mark Zuckerberg is also following his idle Steve Jobs. The base salary of Zuckerbeg, also the most-known face of Facebook, is set to decline further and would remain just a token amount of $one per year, effecting January 1, 2013. Don’t worry about Mark Zuckerberg as he is the largest share holder with 28.2% of Facebook, which was kept secret so far.

Especially after Facebook filed S-1 for its IPO debut, in which the company is expecting to raise $5 billion that makes the total vale of Facebook $100 billion. So, when once Facebook gone public, then Mark Zuckerberg’s value would come around a whopping $28 billion, atleast on papers.

Also, it’s not only the $500,000 Mark took to home as compensation in 2011, after all it’s only the base salary for him. Including his bonus of $220,500 along with $500,000 base salary Mark  took an addition $783,529 as other compensations to his home. So, in 2013 Mark is going to take only a $1 per year as the base salary excluding his bonuses.

Which raises the question:

  1. will he ever pay taxes again?

  2. Can Zuckerberg really live without income?

So what are your views about this questions.??

Motorola Droid 4 to Be Released February 10

Posted by Sumit Rana

Though touch screens have pretty much taken over the smartphone layout, a few phones still offer a slide out edge-lit QWERTY keyboard for typing.  As touchscreen and laser projected keyboards are becoming the norm, they are still slower to type on and produce more errors.  For those of us who use phones to return emails on a regular basis, the comfort of a physical keyboard can make working on the go a whole lot easier.  Verizon has announced that the Droid 4 will hit stores on Friday, February 10th and will run $199 with a two-year contract.

There was plenty of room for improvement after the release of the Droid 3, most notably with the bulk of the device.  The Droid 4 is supposed to be much thinner at less than a half-inch thick.  The 4-inch display, complete with scratch resistant screen, makes the Droid 4 slightly bigger than the 3.5-inch iPhone, but far smaller than the newly released 5.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Note.  The Droid 4 also boasts 8-megapixel rear-facing and 1.3 megapixel front-facing cameras and a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It will be operating on the Android 2.3.5 (codenamed Gingerbread), with a possible upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich in the future.

The Droid 4 was a hit at the Consumer Electronics Show last month in Las Vegas.  People are a little disappointed in the lack of Ice Cream Sandwich for the release version.  Hopefully when they do release the update it won’t crash like it did with the Galaxy Nexus.

The electrical board is inside the device making it water resistant to splashes, but not full on submersion.  The 4G LTE network is far faster, and the Droid 4 is one of the few Verizon phones on the lightning speed network.  It will join the ranks of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Droid Razr, LG Spectrum, Pantech Breakout, Samsung Stratosphere, Droid Bionic, Droid Razr Maxx and HTC Rezound on the 4G LTE network.  Check the website to see if you’re in a region that supports the LTE network before getting your hopes up, major cities are likely to have the network, whereas rural areas probably won’t be able to offer it for a while.

This phone may bring into question BlackBerry’s attempts to revamp their hold in the market.  BlackBerry’s use of the keyboard is sort of a trademark feature, whereas the inclusion of a thin, lightweight keyboard on a Droid phone may push BlackBerry even further out of their market share.

Google Page Rank update February 2012

Posted by Sumit Rana

Page Rank update is one of the most awaited things for all the bloggers to occur as it determines the quality of their websites in the eyes of Google which turns into higher positioning of their website in Google search results, which effect their traffic all the way resulting in hike & drop in their money from blogs.

Page rank is a link analysis algorithm, named after Larry Page and used by the Google Internet search engine, that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyper-linked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of “measuring” its relative importance within the set. The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references. The numerical weight that it assigns to any given element E is referred to as the Page Rank of E and denoted by PR(E).

You can check the page rank of your blog on or if you have multiple websites/blogs and wish to check the page rank in bulk you use masspagerank website and list all of your urls and get an updated list instantly.

How Google Page Rank update works ?

Google Page rank is measured on 1-10 scale and 10 being the highest. Google rate a page on many factors like Page quality, backlinks to page and many others and updates page rank once in 3-4 months. There is no official date for next PR update, but they usually roll out an update in 3-4 months time.

Here is a video from Matt cutts which explains how PR update works and how often Google updates page rank.

For building backlinks, here are some of the most recommended methods:

  • Guest posting

  • Article marketing

  • Blog commenting

  • Forum Posting

The SEO structure of your blog also lays importance on the pr of your page. Your template should be SEO optimized and user friendly. You should re-check all the outbound links from your websites whether they are relevant to your blog’s niche or not and add noindex/nofollow attributes wherever necessary. You can use many scripts available around the Internet some are free and some can be bought online.

Mention your blog page rank in comment section and also visit our guest post section for your guest post regarding this topic on our blog.

Smart TVs' offer new windows onto the Internet

Posted by Sumit Rana

If you are looking forward to buy a new TV this year, whether you realize one thing or not, you are for sure get a TV set which is competent to connect you with the internet browsing. Hence you can get into your favourite networking sites like Facebook and Twitter and even would be able to download a number of applications including games like angry birds.

This is all possible with the help of a Smart TV. You will now find a number of titans and giants like Google and Microsoft giving new trends to this invention. Even Apple is expected to join this race soon with completely new version of an Apple TV system which it signalled before. The CES (consumer electronics show) 2012 which concluded recently in Las Vegas unveils a fact that almost all the big and small groups want now to bet on this idea. Hence you are likely to see the smart TV taking over all the living rooms soon.

Smart TV a new gateway to Internet: The CES 2012 which concluded last Friday in Las Vegas showed number of companies including the forerunner groups like Samsung, Sony and LG uncovering the a new smart TVs at the show. These all brands along with other showed off voice and motion control interfaces which will give better ways to control games as well as changing the various channels and browsing the internet, instead of wrestling with a remote control. Samsung is reported to have sold more than 57 million sets all across the world last year and is currently leading the market in TV production since past six years. The company also plans to reckon the TV with a giant computer screen in the corner of your lounge which can help you in sharing the pictures from your phones over it and use them to connect a video call.

Different players- different roles: Among the biggest use of smart TV is watching a number of catch up services and online movies. Right now only Google is on its way to get its Google TV service installed in all most all the companies, however, the giants like Samsung which is among the top in TV sales in US is not using it. Similar is the story with Sony who is hedging their bets by rendering both their own version and Google’s in different sets. Apple which didn’t showcase anything at the CES 2012 is strongly rumored to come up with their own smart TV which is perhaps likely to be introduced later this year. LG however is making its own chips to beef up with additional online capacities with gesture and voice controls. This year the company plans to embark with L line chips to a premier TV line. LG started its journey of smart TV with Google TV software and continue with their bonds with Google to come up with more powerful technologies in the future products. While more than eight million TVs with Yahoo widgets have been sold and its sales are likely to increase with better and advance technologies like wireless internet connections. While the Los Angeles based Frequency was seen releasing iPad and internet browser versions of a service which lets the consumer program channels as per their whims and fancies.

There are so many versions of smart TV which you can find in the market having their own special tweaks and foibles. Thus with so many options available in the market, the consumers are likely to replace one brand with another depending upon their choice of apps, games or the photo storage service and so on.

iPhone5 To Be High On Demand Like Never Before

Posted by Sumit Rana

The hype surrounding iPhone 5 refuses to die down. Expectations are running high among potential buyers about the kind of features the new iPhone will make available to the users. Every other day, one gets to read articles about what features the iPhone 5 will have. Speculation continues but there is no official word on the launch yet.

The point that remains a certainty, though, is that a redesigned iPhone will be a huge hit with the people and the sales revenues will shatter all records. The demand is for a completely new device, no less.

iPhone 5 - the game changer:-

Apple has always succeeded in presenting something new to its customers when it comes to the iPhone. The buyers too have thronged the market place to buy any new release of iPhone. The sales numbers have never been disappointing. Now the customers want and demand a complete overhaul of the design. There was a huge buildup leading to the release of a new iPhone device in October, 2011. The device all were waiting for was the iPhone 5. iPhone 4S was launched instead. SIRI was discussed a lot and appreciated. Millions of sets were sold in the first week itself but the wait is still on for iPhone 5, the device people want to get their hands on.

For Apple too, the launch would be of immense significance as Android phones account for a major chunk of the smart phone market. To halt the Android juggernaut, Apple needs iPhone 5 to be a rip-roaring success. With the launch of Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS based smart phones, the competition will only get tougher. Blackberry is not as much a threat to Apple when it comes to market share. There are always rumors floating about the features of iPhone 5. The A5 processor, a better camera, more power in the processor or higher RAM, the truth is that if the iPhone 5 meets user expectations it is going to make Apple the market leader.

The numbers game:-

The speculation over the huge revenues iPhone 5 may churn out is not mere hearsay. Polls indicate the user inclination towards the iPhone 5. People are willing to let go of the Android or Blackberry mobiles they currently use for an iPhone that comes packed with new features and the one that is a new design and not merely an upgrade of the current version available. The market share of Apple in the smart phones segment will see immense growth to move to 41 percent from the current 27 percent. Quite likely if the InMobi survey is to be believed. If 50 percent of Blackberry users, 27 percent of the ones using Android smart phones and 51 percent of iPhone users switch to iPhone 5, such an overwhelming rise will indeed become a reality.

The numbers being doled out by pollsters will be tested when the iPhone 5 launch eventually happens in the near future. That will prove to be an exciting phase for the smart phones market segment. The corporate player that understands the needs of the market and plays its cards well will turn out to be the eventual winner.
